Rovio Releases Flappy Bird inspired 8 Bit Game

Who would have thought that mobile game giant Rovio would pick inspirations by surprise hit Flappy Bird? Seems new ideas are too hard to find, so let´s have a look the first trailer. It seems like a fun game but nevertheless some key elements have been taken from Flappy directly. Like bumping into obstacles makes the plane drop like a stone, the obviously difficult game play and last but not least the klunky but well designed 8 Bit world. Anyway, let´s see how this game will perform. We think: It might fill the revenue gap threatening Rovio after leaving the angry bird comfort zone.
