ENCRYPTED TEXT MESSAGING: Threema is the safe Whatsapp

These days it’s good to learn more and more about data safety. An app for iOS and ANDROID that let’s you share encrypted text messages with your friend is called THREEMA. Coming from a developer team in switzerland THREEMA offers a default key or, to be even more safe, a personal key, that can be created directly with the friend, who you’d like to share messages with. This key needs to be verified and confirmed by a mutual QR code.

THREEMA uses a open source solution from the NaCl Cryptography Library. Cryptography Gure Daniel J. Bernstein was one of the contributors.
