REVIEW: DREI for iPad

Drei is a game where you need to use your square logic, or sometimes just do the obvious what stands there in front of your eyes. The great challenge is that you have to do this with two or three (Drei) more people, when you play online, who have to coordinate and have the same thinking as you do so that you can put together shapes to advance you to the next stage.
That is when the magic begins.
While you do this you get so hooked and actually look like a crazy person because you start talking and screaming to your tablet. You only get a few speech bubbles so there is no real communication with the other players, just a few words that have to be enough.
The next amazing thing is without a doubt the design of the game, minimal and simple, makes you focus on the challenge and relaxes your mind. I felt very zen just concentrating on the shapes and the lovely sounds that follow along your moves. Sound design is excellent, it fits perfectly the visual and the lovely character who executes your moves.

The last but definitely not least are the physics of the game which is the absolute essence of it. The interaction is so exact and precise, you can see the shaking of your hand trying to balance the objects while everything else is reacting around it as in real life.

It´s an innovatively designed game, that fascinates with a stunning concept of teamwork being turned into gameplay and the madness that comes with it. The only downside is the limited number of stages that makes a total of around 3 hours of gameplay.
